Eligibility Criteria

This Offer is open to Basic Cardmembers holding The Platinum Card® (“Eligible Card”) issued by AMEX (Middle East) B.S.C. (c) (“AEME”).

The Eligible Card must be active i.e. not blocked or cancelled and with no overdue payments on the Card.

Registering (Enrolling) for the Offer

Cardmembers can register for this Offer through the following channels specified in the Offer communication, including but not limited to:

Option 1: Open your Amex Email Communication, click on the “Enroll” Tab.

Option 2: Log in to your account using the Online Services or the Amex MENA mobile application. Go to Amex Offers, tap on the “Platinum Experience” Category, then click on the offer titled “Exclusive Shopping Experience”, then tap ‘Save to Card’ on the Offer page.

Eligible Purchases

"Eligible Purchases” are purchases made at points of sale and online through the website or mobile application (“Online”) at:

• Marks & Spencer: Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Qatar & UAE

• Toys R Us: Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, UAE

• Ted Baker: Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, UAE & Kuwait

• Sandro & Maje: Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar & UAE

• Al Futtaim Jewellery, The Watch House

• AAPE: UAE

• Kiabi: UAE, Bahrain

• IKEA: Egypt, Qatar, UAE, Oman

Eligible Purchases made on Supplementary Cards will also be included in calculating the total Statement Credit to award.

The following transactions made on the Eligible Card during the Offer Period are not included in calculating Eligible Purchases:

• Purchases made for business purposes.

• Cancelled or reversed transactions.

This Offer is valid and can be used in conjunction with any promotions that Al Futtaim select brands are running during the Offer Period.

Spend Target and Statement Credit Offer

The offer will be applicable only if Cardmembers meet the minimum spend criteria below:

Awarding the Statement Credit

Cardmembers who are eligible to earn Statement Credit as per the terms and conditions of this Offer will receive their Statement Credit within 6 weeks from the end of each Spend Period.

General Terms

• Cardmembers’ Card Accounts must be shown as active and regular during the Offer Period and at the time the Offer is awarded (i.e. the Card Account must not be blocked or cancelled and has no overdue payments during the Offer Period and as on the date the Offer is awarded).

• During the Offer Period, all Transactions will continue to incur Fees, Charges and applicable Interest rates as per the prevailing Schedule of Fees and Charges.

• AEME reserves the right to modify or change all or any of the terms applicable to the Offer or to extend or discontinue the Offer at its absolute discretion.

• The Terms and Conditions governing this Offer are in addition to and not in substitution of the Primary terms and conditions governing Card usage. Cardmembers warrant that they have read these terms and conditions carefully and participate in this Offer willingly, available on the website  by selecting your country from the drop list at the bottom of the home page www.americanexpress.com.bh

• All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for the Offer will be resolved by AEME in its sole discretion. AEME’s decision on all matters relating to the Offer shall be final, binding and conclusive.

• AEME’s failure to enforce any term or condition does not constitute a waiver of that term or condition by AEME.

• AEME's obligations under this Offer are subject to any restriction or limitation imposed by any regulatory, judicial or administrative authority with jurisdiction over AEME, and AEME will not be liable to the extent any decision, direction, order or determination by such body prohibits or restricts AEME's performance under or compliance with this Offer.

• Cardmembers release and discharge AEME from any and all liability resulting from any unauthorized human intervention, or any other cause, including but not limited to malfunction of any computer component, software or communication line, any loss or absence of network communication, any faulty, incomplete or unintelligible transmissions which could limit the opportunity of any individual in getting the Offer.

• AEME regards the confidentiality of its Cardmembers personal information with the utmost security. AEME does not accept any responsibility for any promotional material or other material communicated to the Cardmembers by third parties that independently obtained any personal information.
